Thread lift is a gentle method for facial rejuvenation that provides firmer contours. It can be applied as either a thread lift or thread filling and can be well combined with other lift and filling methods. The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia.
Thread lift, also known as the Silhouette Soft lift method, is minimally invasive and painless. Special threads are introduced into the subcutaneous fat tissue with micro-needles to tighten sagging tissue. The lift effect lasts for up to 24 months.
The absorbable threads connect with the subcutaneous tissue and provide skin tightening. The treatment takes about 30 – 60 minutes, and the effect is immediately visible. Downtime is minimal, but strong facial movements should be avoided in the first 8 days after the procedure.
Thread lift can contour and tighten various areas of the face, including cheeks, chin, neck, and eyebrows. It is an effective method for compensating volume deficits and improving skin firmness in the long term.
